Health & Safety in the Construction Sector (HSCS)
In accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act – Act XXXIII of 2024, amongst other duties, it shall be the duty of the employer to provide such information, instruction, training, and supervision as shall be required to ensure health and safety at work.
This course also aligns with S.L. 646.27 – Health and Safety at Work (Minimum Health and Safety Requirements for Work at Construction Sites) Regulations.
Course Objectives
- Introduce participants to the key concepts and principles of health and safety in the construction sector.
- Raise awareness of health and safety issues relevant to construction environments.
- Familiarise participants with priority concerns, including legal responsibilities.
- Equip participants with the knowledge to formulate a workplace action plan.
Course duration: 8 hours.
