Introduction to Occupational Health & Safety (IOHS)

In accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act – Act XXXIII of 2024, amongst other duties, it shall be the duty of the employer to provide such information, instruction, training, and supervision as shall be required to ensure health and safety at work.

This foundational course is designed to promote awareness and understanding of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) practices and responsibilities.

Course Objectives:

  1. Introduce participants to the core concepts and principles of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS).
  2. Raise awareness of key OHS issues across various workplaces.
  3. Familiarise participants with priority concerns, including relevant legal duties.
  4. Support participants in developing a practical workplace action plan.

Course duration: 12 hours.
